A gift Card
Here is a gift card I made for a friend using the top note die and sizzlets. The first shows the outside of the card and the second pic shows the inside.
Big shot items
In my day off - I stayed up until 5 this morning because it is the only time I will have this week to do craft stuff with school and all, I made these 3 big shot items. I have to send a package to two people. One being my Stampin' Sister on UDI and the other my Stamping Sister on Splitcoaststampers. The rules are almost the same except you have to use all SU stuff for UDI and you don't for the other. But I only have SU stuff so they both get the SU.

A Post-It-Note Holder
I made this yesterday from a video I watched at Dawns Stamping Studio. I used the new In colors and DSP. The pen came from Staples.
The first picture is the outside with it opened up so you can see the front and back cover. The second picture is the inside opened up. the post-it-notes are on the left and a piece of DSP paper on the left inside cover. The last is just the cover and what it would look like if you were to receive it. Hope you like it.

Royal Blog Tour and Blog Candy

New Cards I have received
When was the last time you actually received a letter in the mail? I was so happy with the letter and the card. I received this Thank you card from one of my flood swap group members . She sent the card and a long letter thanking me for being patient with her last month when she was having problems sending out her cards and for what was going on in her life and to thank me for hosting the swap because it was one of the most fun and best swaps she has ever been in. This is her second round. My group this round which goes through November is a large group, therefore we have more cards to send out each month, but when it is our month to be flooded, we get 39 cards. The floodies also post the cards they receive on Splitcoaststampers for all of us to see. It is one of the best resources for Stampin' Up card ideas. It is a Stampin' Up only swap.

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY
I am going to be very busy in the next few weeks. I am taking a 5 week PSY course which counts as a semester and it started today and just this week we have to read 2 chapters from one book, 1 chapter from another. Take 2 tests, and write 2 papers. All this by Friday because we have to comment on each other's papers by the following Tuesday when the next week begins. I have done the first assignment which is to introduce yourself, but the next one I have been working on for hours. But most of the day I have been back and forth with two banks because one of the put a stop payment on a check of ours and the customer was a little upset to say the least. I found out towards the end of the day that it was our bank that made the mistake so they are going to issue a letter of apology to the customer with the check amount plus the cost her bank charged for the returned check.
But I am also getting ready for some swaps I have to finish out and get ready for my Princess Tour. I have to make up at least 4 items using one stamp set from the new catty but I don't know what the set it yet. But you won't get to see until the tour in July. I am so excited.
So wish me luck on all accounts.
Just love this Card Weaving
I have to work a lot with the new "In Colors" each year until I begin to love them. I always go through withdrawals when the old colors go out because I usually end up loving them, or at least one or two of them. I am really going to miss Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. But here are the new colors I used on this card. I used the new DSP paper Razzleberry Lemonade and Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo. I used the Melon Mambo ribbon but used the underside instead of using the dotted side. I used one of the sentiments from Kind and Caring Thoughts from the Level 3 Hostess set. I used the top note die after I weaved the DSP paper.

School Begins
I have been alerting everyone who is in any of my swaps (I have ongoing ones), that I will not be able to hostess the next rounds. I have been asking for people to take over. With going back to school, I just don't want to be a "flaker" hostess and being an ongoing hostess is a lot of work. I enjoy doing these swaps but I have another challenge and that is doing well in school and since it has been so long since I have taken a course, I need to put all my effort into that. I am glad that my first course falls after public school is over so that I don't have to work and go back to school, at least at first. Once September rolls around, I will be doing both. So wish me luck. I will continue to post cards and other items as always. I do not plan on giving up my only outlet - cardmaking.

Cards Made from Secret Sisters Card Kits
This was the reveal month and the card kits I have been getting from Group#2 were from Heidi Martin. Thanks so much for all the goodies you have been putting in your kits. She is a "Close to My Heart" Demo. These are the cards I made from her kits. We are to use the two different papers, fiber or ribbon and embellishments sent.
Card from my Secret Sister
Actually this is a Thank you card made by Joan who was my secret sister. It was great getting to know her and she actually called me from England when I revealed myself. It is great to make new friends through swaps and even better, ones from other countries. Thanks Joan for the wonderful card.
