Cards Made from Secret Sisters Card Kits

This is a card made by my SS as an example of a hinged card that I am to make. It is the first one I have seen and it will be my first one to try. I love to try new techniques.

More Faux Torn Vellum

Here are two more cards I made with the new technique I learned from Gretchen. I love it and it is so simple.

New Cards

Two of the card were just quick cards I made up using the embossing folder. The are the red and the crushed curry.
I was looking at the Tour de Freaks and fell in love with Gretchen's Faux Torn Vellum technique. Well I had to try it but did it a little different but used the same stamp set. All these cards used the Big Shot. The last card is a shadow box card that will fit into a regular envelope. Most of this card was made using the Big Shot except the circle was made by the circle cutter.

This is a card I made for a punch art swap I was in. I used both SU punches and the Big Shot Dies to complete this card. I have full directions if anyone would like them.

Another Card w/Paper Weaving

This can be addicting. I just had to make another card with the paper weaving and had to see if it could be cut out and it can and looks great. And the other card was a RAK card from Lisa Goodell from UDI for thinking of her on her birthday.

Tutorials

If you look at the very bottom of my blog, you will see a tutorial on the flower pot cards. I think they are so cute. Dawn does a great job and if you like her tutorials, look on UTube for more or her blog which she lists at the end of her video. I have learned a lot from her.

Technique Card

I had to do a technique for a swap and I chose Shaving Cream, one of my favorites. But I don't use glossy card stock, I use the confetti white instead. It dries faster and if you use silver or gold, you don't have to worry about it messing up. It dries almost instantly.
