Welcome to Racing Towards Creativity Royal Blog Tour

Welcome to my part of the "Pretty In Pink" Princess Tour. I am filling in for someone who had to drop the tour at the last minute. My name is Jennifer Eby. My samples will be on the simple side since I did not have weeks to prepare like the rest did. In fact, I did all my samples in one weekend. I am spotlighting the stamp set called "Leaf Lines." This set has so much potential. There are 5 types if leaves and a saying and I have used each and everyone in my samples you will see below. If you want to know how and what supplies I used, please email me and I will provide you with the directions. I am also offering Blog Candy. What I am giving away and what you must to do to be in the drawing is at the end of my samples.

This is my favorite card. As you have probably discovered by now, making flowers from punches or stamps is all the rage right now. I used the ginko leaf to make my flower. The center of the flower uses the four leaf clover with a pink rhinestone brad. The leaves are from the big bird punch. The flower was raised up with a glue dot.

This is my 3D item and it contains tea bags. The front of the container says TEA and it is hard to see in the picture. There are also clear buttons attached to the front. I am not sure what kind of leaves these are but they reminded me of tea leaves, so I used them on this container. The kind of tea that is in this container also includes flowers so I made pansies using our butterfly punch. This is on the back of the container.

New 3-D items

I have made some flowers from punches and a Garden Giggle Butterfly. The pattern and tutorial for the Butterfly box came from Gretchen Barron. Isn't it so cute. There are more to do, but this is what I did last night.

This next picture show two flowers I have made from various punches.

This flower was made from the ornament punch. It is beautiful but it is large. I attached it to a large paper clip and I am using it now.

This last flower was made with the large bird punch using the actual bird, cutting off his beak and rounding the end. The center is made with the scallop punch. I will probably end up using this on a card.

Stampin' Up is making a major change by doing some color renovations. Here is a copy of the new and old colors you will be seeing this summer when the new catty comes out. We will also in addition to the new permanent colors, we will have 5 new "In Colors" that will stay for two years instead of the one year we used to have.
