My Last Chance Items

This items was made using the now retired DSP paper called the Write Stuff. It is perfect to cover these notebooks.

This set was also used using retired DSP and ribbon, but you could use a different kind from the new catty. The stamps are still current.

New Cards Made

I have been making a lot of cards lately and eventually you will see them all but a lot are in kits and my camera needs batteries and I keep forgetting to get them when I am out. As soon as it is fixed, you will be able to see my projects some with cards that go with them.
But for now, you will have to settle for single off the cuff cards I made.

I do love the new SU embossing folder. It really can change the look of things.

Working on my Christmas Cards

Here are two cards I made. I am working on my big seller (2 Fall Festivals in October) so now is the time to start making Christmas Cards. I have made a lot lately and I will not show them all because I don't have the time to scan all the cards. Since I have been laid up, I have at least made 10 cards a day but they are not all Christmas. The second card is all MDS except for the crystal effects I put on the colored dots.

Halloween

Here are two cards I made last night. These were left over ATC cards I made for a swap and never did anything with them. It was a technique swap and I used the shaving cream technique. Now you will notice that I did not use SU stamps (for shame) but it was not an SU swap. So I turned the ATC cards into regular Halloween cards.

Hydrangea coloring

I made a few cards, one I have already posted with blue and pink. These three show the different colorings we have around here from light blue to purple. I do love hydrangeas.

Fifth Avenue Thank You

Here is another card I did over the weekend. I haven't used this set in a long time and forgot how much I like it. Glad it's going to be around for awhile.

Here is another Butterfly card (love this single stamp from the summer mini) and the presto DSP paper. It is simple yet elegant.

Hidden Thank You

I made this using the butterfly stamp and made a pocket from the Top Note die using the Big Shot.

Hydrangea

The hydrangeas in my area go from pink to purple with blue being the major color. It all depends on the acidity of the soil. I hope you like this "Because I Care" stamp set that will be in the new catty.

Time Flies

I always wanted to use the new cog punch with our clock stamp so I made one this past weekend. Enjoy!

Motorcycle Card

As some of you may know, I have been laid up since Thursday from surgery. It is taking much longer for my body to bounce back and I am in a lot of discomfort. So to help me when I am not sleeping, I am making cards, much to my DH's displeasure because I am doing it in the living room and making a complete mess. Between yesterday and today I have made 18 cards. I am only going to show you one at a time. This first one of the motorcycle and the new newsprint DSP paper. I should have used vanilla paper to print the motorcycle on. It was one of my husband's employees who had a birthday and I of course offered him one of my cards and he said he doesn't get into that kind of thing but I knew he rode a harley so I said, wonder if I make one with a motorcycle on it and he said maybe. After he saw it, he said it was just the thing. Normally I wouldn't buy things like the motorcycle but since it was just one stamp, I splurged and bought it. I am glad I did now.

Here are a few cards I made while I am resting up from my operation. The  butterfly cards came from a tutorial from Ilina Crouse. The others came from a workshop I attended at Kim Millers.

Almost reached 3000. Celebrate

I have decided that as soon as I reach 3000 viewers, I will give away a hostess stamp set. Celebrate. The people I will chose from will be my followers.
I have randomly picked one of my followers. I have emailed her and hopefully will hear from her soon. If I do not, then I will choose another one of my followers.
I did not hear from the first person I chose, so my random picker chose another one. I have emailed her. Hopefully she will respond.

Remember that I have decided that once a month I will give blog candy out. The only thing you have to do is leave a comment with your email address. This card is made with retired DSP, soon to be retired stamp set called "Spring Song" (so if you want it you better order it now) and the new colors and cardstock soon to be in the new catty.
I keep everything and two former "In Color" colors are returning so I could use the colors on the card such as the ribbon.
