After today, I will be gone for two days visiting my daughter in Norfolk. I don't see her much now and I wanted to go see her before her Band Camp and School starts again. She has her own apartment there and working for Regal Cinema which she loves because she can see all the movies for free (we can too being immediate family). So you won't see any post from me until Sunday. Have a good weekend.
Today I have made for you two cards with the Medallion stamp which is a huge stamp. I saw so many beautiful cards on the tour with this set but of course I did my own take on it. On the Rich Razzelberry one I did use bling that is not SU (naughty me). I wish they would start offering it because I love it but they don't. And on the Crushed Curry card I used stickles, another non SU product. I could have gotten around that by mixing the glitter with crystal effects but I didn't have an extra bottle of crystal effects lying around so I cheated. But I hope you like them. Remember you have until Saturday midnight to comment to get more blog candy. Please read the instructions two posts down. You must have made an original comment during the tour.

New Cards
The tour is over and now I have some new cards to post. The card with the butterflies is not all SU. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies and the picket fence. Other than that, all the cards are SU. Hope your enjoy.

We Have a Winner and Instructions for Blog Tour Samples
I would like to first let everyone who looked at my blog a thank you and everyone who left a comment, especially if you weren't in for the blog candy a hug. But most of all I hope I have inspired some of you and that you keep up with my blog. I post most every day. As you can see, I now just get patterns from different sights and then design the project myself now. It took a couple of years, but I am now confident enough to do it myself now so I am very pleased that everyone seemed to like my samples. Second, I like to announce that the winner of my blog candy is: Tenny Kusuma. I used the Random Number Generator and made sure the person full filled all the criteria and was not a demo. I will contact her by email and will have the items sent directly to her from Stampin UP. Congratulations Tenny.
I am going to give you links to blogs and videos that I used to find my inspiration in making the Tri-Shutter Card and the Post - It - Note Organizer.
Tri-Shutter Card
Post-It-Note Organizer
The scrapbook page is fairly simple to figure out by just looking at it.
The last card used the faux torn vellum technique: On White Card Stock, you mask off part of your cardstock with torn post-it notes and then just begin stamping, layering images and colors until you get the look you want. I stamped En Francais in Rich Razzleberry and then added the stamps from Kind and Caring Thoughts in Soft Suede, Stamped off Rich Razzleberry, Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry. I then sponged on three colors in a random pattern -- Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede to fill the empty spaces. Once you have the look you wanted, peel off the post-it-notes and Viola! You have a delightful torn vellum look.
I hope you enjoyed to tour and I usually post something everyday. So keep coming back to look at my creations. If you want more details on exactly what paper I used and what dies and punches I used, then email me and I will let you know. They are all the "In Colors" and the DSP was Razzelberry Lemonaid.

Royal Blog Tour
Welcome to my part of the Dusty Durango Princess Tour. I am spotlighting the Level 3 Hostess Set called "Kind and Caring Thoughts." I loved this set as soon as I saw it. It has so much potential. And I am offering Blog Candy. What I am giving away and what you must to do to be in the drawing is at the end of my samples.
- Next I made a 6 x 6 scrapebook page that has one of my daughter's senior pictures on it. This also uses the new "In Colors" and DSP paper. I thought that this stamp worked very well with the nature scene picture. and the sentiment also belongs to the set. Of course I am a little partial.
Next I made a Post-It-Note organizer w/matching pen. The first picture is of the outside of the organizer. On the inside the left side of organizer is a pocket you could put notes into and the right size has two sizes of post it notes. I will show a picture of the inside after the tour. This also uses the new "In Colors" and DSP paper.
- And finally I made thee a traditional card using the new "In Colors." I used the faux torn vellum technique. I glittered the ends of the flowers and used the large oval and scallop oval for the vase. I have fallen in love with this technique. If you look further down I have more examples that use other stamp sets.
I wanted to do four different things so that you could see all the possibilities that could be done using this set. I have done more, but they limited us to only four. After the tour I will post new cards using this set, so be sure to come back and take a look. Thanks for viewing my creations.
- If you look at the post below this one called Todays Card Creations, you will see other cards made with this stamp set and the inside of the Post-It-Note Organizer.

Today's Card Creations
These first cards are made with the "Kind and Caring" set that is part of my tour but I was allowed only 4 samples to show. Here are the other samples I did.
I made a cards today. Brown came today with 2 full boxes of SU stuff and it took me half of the day to decide what I wanted to do. One card will look very similar to the one I made for Mojo Monday. When I cut the circles, I cut two so these were the ones left over. It is basically the same, just a little different. The other card with the wolf was a stamp set I have looked at for a long time and finally decided to get. I really didn't like how it turned out because I think I made the moon a little big, but other than that, I think it turned out well. The others were just experiments but I think they turned out well.

Scraps
I was cleaning up my stamping spot which is in the living room while watching TV. I really don't have a stamping room. All my stamping stuff is in 4 rooms. I just have way to much but I can't seem to want to throw anything out. I just might need it one day. I learned that from my parents. But anyway, while I was cleaning, I found some paper all ready cut and I thought, why not make a quick card. So here it is.
