A New Card from the Mini.....

I just got my major shipment in for the mini catty. I LOVE the new fabric, even though I do not sew. I attached the fabric to the Big Shot adhesive sheets and then cut them out. I found that keeping them on the sheets and then attaching them to the card, the fabric kept its shape better. I made the ribbon flower using the binding tape. The other card was using the Simply Sent Sweet Hello and added a sentiment. Hope you like them. You will be able to order from the mini on September 1st.

Great tip about the adhesive sheets. I had wondered about using them. Love that new card kit too.

Jennifer, I love your fabric card. I just wanted to make sure that I had the details right. Did you use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets or the Fabric Adhesive Roll? Did I understand correctly ... you left the backing on the fabric and used a different adhesive to adhere to the card to prevent the fabric from losing its shape? Thanks in advance for answering my questions.

Qbee, I used the regular adhesive sheets, not the fabric ones. I kept the backing on them, because when I tried to take the backing off, the fabric became distorted. I assume that if you use the fabric sheets, that would not be a problem, but then you would have to iron the fabric on. I used tombow glue to glue the fabric onto the paper. I hope this answers your question.
