Vintage Christmas

I took two of the Christmas DSP from the mini that match the fabrics and weaved them with 1/2" lengths. I cut them to the size I wanted, embossed it with the Lattice embossing folder and glued them to my card. I added another piece of DSP like ribbon and on top of that added one of my flowers I made from the fabric. I embossed in silver (to match the vintage brad) the Merry Christmas and offset it with versamark. I really like the look of this. It has a very vintage look to it. Hope you all like it.

I enlarged the picture and was really surprised how well the material showed the embossing -- I will have to try this. Would have thought when it was glued down it would have lost the effect. Totally in love with your fabric flower, the antique brad is awesome with it. Thanks Jennifer for sharing.

You won this weavers heart with this card. I love the frayed flower but especially the woven strips. Very cool!
