Awards given

I have looked at a lot of blogs lately and there are a few that stand out. I have been busy swapping and hosting swaps. Check out my blog to see all the cards I have been receiving lately. They are wonderful. I want to share with you an award I received from Messages with Mandy. I received this lovely Lemonade Stand. Thanks Mandy for the award.
Now I want to give a few myself. Here are the details for giving the award.
1. Cut and Paste the logo and put it on your own blog
2. Pass it along to at least 5 other bloggers and leave them a comment with the link to this post.
3. Link it back to the person(s) who gave you the award to show appreciation.
My nominees:
Leeann @ flowerbug's Inkspot
Heather @ Stamp with Heather
Dawn @ Dawn Stamping Studio
Kim @ Stamin'Kim
Ann @ Anne's Creative Nook

All of these are blogs I look at a lot and the links on on my blog to the right under Useful Links.

Thanks a lot to the above for their inspiration to me.

April Showers

Gosh, you gotta love flood swaps. I get so many good ideas from you guys. Here are the three I got today.
I love the cute bunny and layout of this card. It is adorable. It is from Miranda. The next is from Kathy and I love how she texturized her butterfly as well as the cardstock. It is simple yet stunning. And Joan, what can I say about your card.... I have this set but really didn't know what to do with it but I do now. I love, love how you have the tissue paper coming out of the bags like the real thing. It just makes the card. Thanks everyone. Can't wait until the next round. More people, more cards, more ideas. YEA!

Round Robin Card Kits

Here are two cards from the Summer Round Robin Card Kits I took out of the swap. One of the kits will make 8 of these cards and the other will make 6. I just love them.

Here is a card I got today from Karen Thompson. I needed some grad cards so I am glad this came when it did. I really like her layout. Thanks Karen.

April Showers

I received three wonderful flood cards today. The first one is adorable with the dear and it is from Trinity Noel. the second and third are made with my favorite flower although it comes from a tree - the dogwood. The second card is from Michael Crawford and her colors are very vibrant. The last card is so beautiful in person, I hope everyone can see it on the post. It also uses the monarch butterfly and it is so pretty how she did it. Cindy Gilbertson did that one. Thanks everyone. This round should be ending soon and the next one has already started.

Cards made for challenges

Here are several cards I have done for challenges on the Shack. These two cards had to have a butterfly on them for the challenge.

I received a flood card from Jennifer Rivera today. The daisy stamp must be very popular but I love it too. Thanks, Jennifer

Get to Know your Stampin' Sisters

UTAH DIVA's are doing this for their group but I thought I would through this out to anyone and it doesn't have to be Stampin' Up. This is at Splitcoaststampers and it could be a lot of fun and not to expensive.

Paper Roses

I have been playing with my big shot and made a bunch of cards up using the flower layers die cuts. I also used the sizzix embosslits sweetest stem, birds and blooms, scallops circle#2, lots of tags, clear circle and the Manhattan flower embossing folder. I had some neat paper that was handmade w/flower buds incorporated in the paper that I used for some of the flowers. I also was a bad girl and used some non SU DSP paper. But I also used Kiwi, Regal rose and vellum paper from SU. I also used the stamp set "Short and Sweet" and the new "Summer Love Rub-ons" from the Mini Occasions Catty. Hope you enjoy the cards.

Here are the rest of the cards.
